Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) Weapon are effective weapons, however they have certain limitations that must be seriously considered:

SINGLE SHOT:	One shot only. Cannot be used on multiple subjects.
TARGET:	If target is missed, device must be used as a contact stun gun, which is limited to arms length and places the officer in higher risk.
RECOVERY:	Fast recovery enables a subject to resume attack after the electric current is shut off.
POWER:	Fresh batteries are required. Poor battery function in cold climates.
FIRE HAZARD:	Electric contact causes combustion of flammable materials, liquid and vapors.
SIZE:	Not concealable.
COST:	Excess of $399.95 USD, not economical to be carried by each officer.
