Zarc APS™ less lethal launcher platform — pepper spray gun for protection at a distance

APS™ — Zarc®'s Less Lethal Launcher Platform

A .68 caliber pepper spray gun built for real stand-off distance. Powered by APS™ (Advanced Propelled Solutions) and Vexor® VPS™ projectiles.

Most pepper spray products put you within arm's reach of a threat. The Zarc® APS™ platform was built to change that — a CO2-powered less lethal launcher system that delivers accurate direct engagement up to 60 feet, with Vexor® VPS™ projectiles capable of traveling up to 175 feet. It's the launcher platform behind the Zarc® Enforcer™ X3-LE, and it's engineered around one goal: giving agencies time, space, and options before a threat gets close.

APS™ On-Demand CO2 Activation System

On-Demand CO2 Activation

APS™ (Advanced Propelled Solutions) is built around an On-Demand CO2 Activation System: a standard 12g CO2 cartridge — the same easy-to-find size used across countless other products — can be installed in advance and left in the launcher indefinitely until activated. Once activated, a single cartridge delivers up to three full magazines, or 15 rounds.

That means the Zarc® X3-LE can sit ready, CO2 installed, for as long as an officer needs it to — no continuous pressurization, no guesswork about when it's ready to deploy.

Zarc APS™ less lethal launcher, not a firearm

Less Lethal, Purpose-Built

The Zarc® X3-LE is not a firearm — it's a purpose-built, semi-automatic, CO2-powered less lethal launcher, engineered specifically around Vexor® VPS™ (Vexor® Projectile Systems) projectiles for professional and law enforcement use.

Professional-grade design features an ergonomic grip at a lightweight 1.13 lb and 9 inches overall, a high-visibility front sight, and a Picatinny accessory rail compatible with lights, laser sights, and other duty accessories.

APS™ Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Zarc® X3-LE?

The Zarc X3-LE is the professional and law enforcement configuration of the X3, a .68 caliber, CO2-powered less lethal launcher built on the APS™ (Advanced Propelled Solutions) platform.

How far does it shoot?

The platform delivers direct engagement capability up to 60 feet, with VPS™ projectiles capable of traveling up to 175 feet. 60 feet is the range at which an operator can accurately place a projectile on target; 175 feet describes the extended distance a projectile can travel.

Does it use standard CO2? How many shots per cartridge?

Yes, a standard 12g CO2 cartridge. One activated cartridge delivers up to 15 rounds — three full 5-round magazines — and can be left installed indefinitely until punctured.

How do we get pricing and availability for our agency?

Contact Zarc directly — X3-LE configurations, pricing, and agency ordering are handled through direct contact rather than online checkout.

What projectiles work with it?

Any .68 caliber VPS™ (Vexor® Projectile Systems) projectile — Training rounds for practice, Impact rounds with no chemical irritant, and, where permitted, PRO and MAX chemical defense projectiles.
